Fayette County Information
Fayette County has the 3rd highest per capita income in Georgia, and is an easy commute to Atlanta or to the airport, as all the Delta employee residents can attest. With outstanding public schools, many beautiful golf courses, terrific shopping, and beautiful homes it continues to attract new home buyers.
Peachtree City was Georgia’s first planned community and is divided in to six villages – Aberdeen, Braelinn, Glenloch, Kedron, Planterra/Wilksmoore, and Industrial. The plan was to have residential, shopping, and schools in each area linked by golf cart paths. Currently Peachtree City has 94 miles of Golf Cart paths and designated golf cart parking all over town. Two new residential developments are being built including John Weiland’s Everton. Consistently ranks as one of the best places to live, raise kids, play golf or retire in Georgia.
Fayetteville is the county seat and has the oldest court house in Georgia. But it also has the newest and largest movie studio in the world, Pinewood Atlanta has 18 sound stages on 700 Acres. Pinewood Forrest a new mixed-use, loft-feel residential, studio, shopping, and restaurant development being built just across the street. The only gated community in county is Whitewater Creek which is on the golf course.
Tyrone was founded by Irish railroad workers and keeps its country charm. The downtown shopping district has darling antique and consignment shops and cafes. Also home to the Legacy Theater. Charming new craftsman homes are being built in several neighborhoods. On the north side of the county, it is an easy commute to Atlanta.
Brooks is in the southern part of the county and has a more rural feeling. Many of the homes are on larger estate lots, with many new subdivisions popping up in the area.
Coweta County Information
Coweta County is at the crossroads of the new logistics of south metro Atlanta with a perfect location south of the Atlanta Airport and 5 exits directly off of I-85. With great schools, shopping, medical, golf, new homes and access to Atlanta, Coweta will grow for many years to come.
Newnan is The City of Homes and is also home to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Atlanta and Piedmont Newnan Hospital. A new medical community is rising up in Newnan to serve this area. Many new homes and neighborhoods as well as historic homes are for sale! Well know areas include the SummerGrove and White Oak golf courses. The new West Georgia campus is providing additional educational opportunities.
Senoia is such a charming city to be known for The Walking Dead! Senoia is also the only city to host two Southern Living Idea Houses, one townhome and one renovation home. So many movies have been filmed here it has its own Senoia Walk of Fame. Lovely place to renovate a home or buy a new one. Zombies roam free and have their own store and restaurant!
Sharpsburg is not as famous as Senoia, but a great location with Northgate High School, the flagship Canongate Golf Club, and easy access to I-85. Many people, especially commuters, find this the perfect place to live.
